Would you take health care from a family expecting a baby?
Aviation Safeguards is doing just that.
On February 1st, Jennifer and her co-workers at LAX will lost their health care. Aviation Safeguards – a contractor-providing passenger services at LAX – recently announced, the company is terminating its contract with employees and as a result, workers will lose their health care benefits on February 1st.
At the same time, Aviation Safeguards’ top clients at LAX – airlines including Virgin Atlantic, United Continental, Air France and Alaska – reported more than $2.5 billion in net profits last year.
Aviation Safeguards is leading the way for the 1% at LAX to increase profits by breaking agreements with workers and taking away health care. We need an airport that works for everyone…not just the 1%.
